Whenever bicycles, pedelecs or individual bicycle components are to be tested or their correct use is to be described, Zedler – Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit GmbH comes into play. In the company-own test laboratory fully-assembled bicycles and individual components are tested for durability and safety in accordance with the binding ISO and EN standards as well as with the practical criteria developed in-house. Most of the necessary testing systems were developed and built by Zedler-Institut. Upon request, we also equip test laboratories of bicycle and component manufacturers with these testing systems.
Furthermore, Zedler-Institut writes and prints user manuals and handbooks for bicycles of all types, e-bikes and speed pedelecs including the matching components. These meet the statutory requirements and comply with the respective EN and ISO standards in force. The user manuals are available in general standard and individual versions in more than 30 languages.
